Microbial Sequencing

BioXplore offers integrated genome sequencing services for bacteria, yeast, fungi, phage and virus.

Microbial WGS

Mobirise

A time-effective and cost-efficient approach
Broad applications: de novo sequencing, gene annotations, comparative genomic studies, evolutionary studies of microorganisms, etc.
Virulence research: assess the contribution of DNA on pathogenesis, and understand the role of mobile elements in drug resistance and transmission

16s/18s/ITS Amplicon sequencing

Mobirise

Amplicon Sequencing is frequently used to identify and differentiate microbial species. Whether you would like to detect the diversity of microbial communities or discover rare somatic mutations in complex samples. BioXplore could provide professional, cost-efficient and high-speed amplicon sequencing services to meet your project requirements.
16s rRNA gene is a highly conserved component, and it is the most widely used gene marker for genus, species, taxonomic identification significance in bacteria and archaea. For fungi, three targets are generally used: the 18S rRNA gene and two internal transcribed spacers (ITS) located between rRNA genes.

Metagenomics

Mobirise

BioXplore offers sequencing with primer sets that span both V3 and V4 HVRs which have been recommended by Illumina. The metagenomics approach serves as a powerful tool for elucidating the relationship between host-associated microbial communities and host phenotype. Metagenomics provides information on composition as well as functional capabilities of an ecosystem.
